Because of the significant safety concerns associated with press operations, press controls are a highly specialized field. WBA has experience with interfacing with these controls to facilitate an integrated press cell. Examples of our experience are:
- Supporting and troubleshooting an web feeding system for blanking pieces for a keg making operation
- Developing a semiautomatic press feeding system for feeding angle iron into a press to punch holes (operator manually loads pieces each cycle).
- Programming a press feeding system that transfers carriages into the press and handles multiple press cycles with tooling shifts for each part.
