WBA has had relationships with multiple manufacturers of cut-to-length equipment. We have extensive experience with cut-to-length applications. We have developed control systems for a large band saw manufacturer. These have included multiple systems with automatic conveyors and an automatic end stop that moves to adjust the stop position of bundles of steel for accurate positioning. For this company, we also produced several systems that use gripper feeders and lead eyes to determine the position of steel bundles for accurate length positioning.
We also have a relationship with a rotary head tube cutting equipment manufacturer. We programmed multiple systems that use lead and tail sensor photoeyes for determining tube position and length for accurate tube cut dimensions.
We also assisted in developing a cost effective feed system for accurately feeding and shearing aluminum for production of small enclosed trailers.
Because of these relationships, WBA has had engineers work in Tennessee, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, and German manufacturing facilities.
